Nestled in Whistler and surrounded by a string of breathtaking mountains, Bearfoot Bistro is the home to the world’s coldest vodka-tasting room.
In partnership with Bearfoot Bistro, we had the task to design a coat that would keep you warm while lounging in an ice room that holds a steady temperature of -32°Celsius (-25°F), but that can also withstand the harsh storms that the Canadian winter can bring.
Inspired by northern expeditions, we went on a quest to combine simple design, high function, and high performance. With an everlasting shape and classic shades of white and black, it will keep for years with its high quality construction and details that were chosen for its specific benefits so that one could jump in on any adventure without hesitation.
A water repellent and wind resistant outer shell engineered with a multi-layer construction and insulated with 90/10 duck down (Certified Responsible Down Standard) stabilized with a tightly woven lining, these heat insulating features will shield you against the cold. Add fleece and faux-fur lining all across, kidney pockets in the back, and a real fur-trimmed hood to protect you against any unpredictable elements, you are bound to stay warm.
With safety at heart, we also equipped it with a full set of pockets for easy-access storage to hold all of your essential, added reflective tape for easy visibility, and Recco pockets in case of emergencies.
This parka was designed for the explorer in all of us.
The Explorer Parka is available only at Bearfoot Bistro and exclusively on our website.
